 Types of iStereo-211VT Stereo Microscope

Hey, everyone! Listen up! Before using the iStereo - 211VT Stereo Microscope, we need to make clear all the safety precautions and the condition of the microscope. This is not only related to the quality of the observation but also affects the service life of the microscope. Now, just follow my steps, and you'll surely be able to use this microscope smoothly.
1、Pre - operation Preparation: First, find a spacious, flat and clean workbench and place the microscope on it steadily. If the workbench is messy, it might damage the microscope. Then, check the appearance of the microscope. See if there are any scratches on the lenses, any bumps on the body, and whether all the adjustment knobs can rotate normally. If there is dust or stains on the lenses, gently wipe them with special lens paper. Never use anything else, or it's easy to scratch the lenses. After that, prepare the sample to be observed. The sample should be kept clean and flat. If the sample is too large, it needs to be pre - processed to be convenient for placing on the stage of the microscope.
2、Install the Light Source (if self - installation is required): Some microscopes require users to install the light source by themselves. If the iStereo - 211VT is like this, follow the instructions in the manual to install the light source components, connect the power supply, and check whether the light is on normally and whether the brightness can be adjusted. If the light is flickering or not on, check the circuit immediately or contact the after - sales service.
3、Connect the Power Supply and Turn on the Machine: Plug in the power plug of the microscope and press the power switch. After turning it on, let the microscope warm up for a few minutes, which can ensure more stable imaging. During the warm - up period, get familiar with the functions of each button and knob on the microscope, such as the focus adjustment knob and the brightness adjustment button, so that you can operate more smoothly later.
4、Adjust the Eyepieces: Adjust the distance between the eyepieces of the microscope according to the interpupillary distance of your own eyes. Bring your eyes close to the eyepieces and adjust while looking until you can see a clear and complete circular field of view, and the images seen by the left and right eyes can overlap perfectly without double images. In addition, you can also adjust the diopter of the eyepieces according to your own vision to make the image look clearer.
5、Place the Sample and Focus: Place the prepared sample on the stage and fix it with a slide clamp to prevent the sample from moving. Then, first turn the coarse - focus knob to slowly move the lens close to the sample. Watch from the side and never let the lens touch the sample, or both the lens and the sample may be damaged. When the lens is almost close to the sample, observe through the eyepieces and slowly turn the fine - focus knob while looking until a clear image of the sample can be seen.
6、Adjust the Light Source and Magnification: Adjust the brightness and angle of the light source according to the characteristics of the sample and the observation requirements. If the sample is light - colored, turn down the brightness a little. If the structure of the sample is complex, it may be necessary to adjust the angle of the light source to illuminate the sample from different directions, so that you can see it more clearly. Then, according to the degree of detail you want to observe, select the appropriate magnification. The iStereo - 211VT generally has several magnification ratios to choose from, and you can switch by turning the magnification adjustment knob.
Observation and Recording: After everything is adjusted, you can observe the sample carefully. You can move the stage to observe the sample from different angles during the observation. If you see a valuable scene and want to take a picture, connect the camera to the interface of the microscope and take pictures according to the operation instructions of the camera.
7、Shutdown and Storage: After the observation is completed, first adjust the brightness of the microscope to the lowest level, and then turn off the power switch. Take the sample off the stage and clean the stage. Wipe the body of the microscope with a clean cloth. If there is dust on the lenses again, gently wipe them with lens paper. Finally, put the microscope and its accessories back into the special storage box and store it in a dry and safe place, so that you can take it out and use it at any time next time.
